The Study Abroad office at NC State University is a unit within the Office of Global Engagement, which supports the university’s overall mission of being locally responsive to the needs of our community while promoting globally engaged research, education, and economic development programs that address the grand challenges of our global society.
The Study Abroad office provides the following services to students: one-on-one advising, assistance with program selection, pre-departure preparation, financial planning, scholarship opportunities, registration and credit coordination, re-entry activities, and 24-hour emergency assistance.
Global Perspectives Certificate
The Global Perspectives Certificate encourages NC State undergraduate students to pursue their international interests, both inside and outside of the classroom. The GPC also looks to recognize students for these pursuits by awarding students an official transcripted certificate upon completion of all GPC requirements. For ideas on activities and opportunities to count towards your GPC experience check out the Office of Global Engagement and the NC State Study Abroad.
