Learn About Funding Opportunities

University Fellowships Office

Students and alums can learn about funded opportunities to conduct research, study, intern, and/or research abroad, learn a language, attend graduate school, participate in leadership development and internship opportunities, and more.  FAO staff meet with students and alums to help identify funded opportunities that may fit the person’s academic, professional, and personal goals and interests. The student or alum does not need any prior knowledge, GPA, or experience to access FAO staff resources.  In fact, the first step is for the student or alum is to simply meet with FAO staff, even if they do not have a specific funded opportunity in mind:

Office of Undergraduate Research

The Office of Undergraduate Research website is a good starting point to learn about the many opportunities for NC State students in undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activities! There are opportunities for students to communicate their research to others through multiple research symposia, publish their research in a research journal, obtain funding for research, and present the research at national conferences and research exploration events.

Join our Google Group to receive emails of deadlines, opportunities, and special events. To join, you will need to log into the NC State Unity system and search for “NCSU Undergraduate Research Info” Google Group and then join.
